Some patrons note that the outdoor play area could use some maintenance, particularly a fresh coat of paint. While the atmosphere is enjoyable, it may not appeal to those seeking a posh wine bar experience—this is a genuine pub, after all. A few guests feel that busy peak times can lead to slower service, impacting the overall experience, especially on Fridays when the pub is at capacity. However, off-peak times tend to provide a more relaxed ambiance.
Visited after recommendation that the Thai food was excellent. I was not disappointed and will definitely return. Family friendly pub and the landlords are so welcoming. Beer was good too. Didn’t stay just had food and drink.
The food is amazing! The Thai is to die for and the Sunday roast is amazing homely food! It good quality and so fresh ! The staff are always friendly and welcoming 😁 We always look forward to coming back!!
I came here for lunch and it was delicious! What a surprise it was to find a Thai food menu in addition to the usual pub fayre. What an even better surprise to find that the Thai food was delicious! The outdoor play area could use a lick of paint but was otherwise enjoyed by my kids.
Nice play park for the kids. Nice staff good atmosphere welcoming. If your looking for a posh wine bar this isn't for you. If your looking for a genuine pub there you go 👍 much rather come here any day than a wine bar. Does properly good scratchings !!! If you book food. They do amazing Thai food and also dog friendly which is great. Fair prices also. Top place. And it's a great place to say to the Mrs "I'll take the kids the park and give you a break" everyone happy. Dad points
Fun, busy, happy, establishment always buzzing
This pub, on the outside looks a little dated and if I didn't know better, would probably walk past... My husband, mother in law, 9 yr old son and I, went in for the advertised Thai food that was advertised for the pub. IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING THAI FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD. Amazing portions, beautifully cooked, the flavours were so delicate and the prices were great and very affordable. The staff were really friendly, approachable and polite and the service was fast. Fresh food in a clean and inviting environment.
The Monday night buffet is the best idea! For someone who didn’t think they liked Thai food it’s an amazing way to try! The spring rolls are the best by far! All fresh veggies and lovely spices throughout ! Friendly staff and good atmosphere
